Disposition of an Estate and its Affect on a Divorce Proceeding
This case provides an excellent analysis of the interplay between the disposition of an estate by last will and its impact on the marital estate. The Appellate Division determined the language in the will disposing certain assets to a third party did not violate the matrimonial consent order prohibiting the dissipation of assets.
